Maintenance of Red Cedar Wood
External maintenance of red cedar is generally not required, as the wood is naturally resistant to weather, moisture, and pests. However, if the sauna is installed in a sunny, open area, treating the exterior once a year with UV-resistant oil is recommended. This helps preserve the original warm color of the wood and prevents it from greying over time.
