ROTO TANKS

MOBILE WATER SYSTEMS FOR MOBILE HOMES

When installing mobile homes, it is important to have an efficient solution for water supply
and wastewater treatment. ROTO wastewater treatment systems and rainwater tanks provide a
sustainable and economical alternative even where there is no public utility network.
According to some population surveys, only 2% of our drinking water consumption is for food
and drinking. The remaining 98% of the water supply is used for other needs. European Environment Agency (EEA) – Reports of the European Environment Agency on household
water use. Toilet flushing – 30% Bathing, showering – 35%. Washing – 15% Dishwashing – 5%. Cooking and drinking water – 2-5%. Cleaning and other use - 5%. Garden watering – 5-10%. (seasonal) Note: Rates may vary by household (apartment-garden house), country and water treatment
equipment and water saving devices used.
ROTO DOMESTIC WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

ROTO offers a wide range of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems, mainly
based on biological treatment processes. The types in use are: Roto EcoBox, RoEco, RoClean
and RoMem. 1. ROTO EcoBox – Compact biological wastewater treatment system ROTO EcoBox is an environmentally friendly, compact and cost-effective wastewater treatment
system designed for single-family homes, small guesthouses and offices.

Operating principle:

  • Biological treatment with SBR (Batch Feed Reactor) technology.
  • Mechanical pre-filtration → aeration → sedimentation → clean water discharge.
  • The system takes up little space and has minimal energy consumption.

Capacity:

  • 2–10 PE, ideal for smaller properties.

Material:

  • Polypropylene (PP) – corrosion-resistant, lightweight but strong structure.

Advantages:

  • Compact design, small footprint
  • Easy to install.
  • Low energy consumption.
  • Environmentally friendly technology.

Installation and assembly:

  • Buried or semi-buried (min. 1.20 m deep).
  • Easy connection to the domestic sewage network.
  • Minimal earthworks and quick installation.

Lifespan:

  • 25-50 years if properly maintained.

2. RoEco – Efficient Domestic Wastewater Treatment.

RoEco is a modern and efficient wastewater treatment system designed for households and
small businesses.

Operating principle:

  • Biological decomposition with aeration.
  • Mechanical filtration → biological treatment → sedimentation.
  • The purified water can be reused (e.g. for watering).

Capacity:

  • Suitable for 4–20 people.
  • Suitable for family houses, small guesthouses.

Material:

  • Polypropylene (PP) or reinforced plastic.

Advantages:

  • Effective wastewater treatment
  • Easy maintenance
  • Energy-saving system
  • Excellent price-performance ratio

Installation and assembly:

  • Simple installation buried in the ground.
  • Electrical connection required due to the
    aeration system.

Lifespan: 30-50 years, with regular maintenance.

3. RoClean – High-performance wastewater treatment.

RoClean is a modular and high-capacity wastewater treatment system designed for larger
properties and industrial facilities.

Operating principle:

  • Multi-stage biological treatment.
  • Mechanical pre-filtration → aerobic biological degradation → post-treatment.
  • High cleaning efficiency (up to 95% cleaning rate).

Capacity:

  • Over 50 people.
  • Also suitable for industrial facilities and larger residential communities.

Material:

  • High-strength polypropylene (PP) or glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP).

Advantages:

  • Modular design - easy to expand.
  • Also suitable for industrial use.
  • High cleaning efficiency.
  • Minimal maintenance requirements.

Installation and assembly:

  • Larger space requirements compared to other types.
  • Requires commissioning and regular inspection by a specialist.

Lifespan:

  • 30-50 years with regular maintenance.

4. RoMem – Membrane Wastewater Treatment System.

RoMem is the most advanced ROTO wastewater treatment system, which uses membrane technology
for highly efficient purification.

Operating principle:

  • MBR (Membrane BioReactor) technology.
  • Biological treatment + membrane filtration → clean water discharge.
  • The purified water can be directly recycled.

Capacity:

  • Can also be used for systems with more than 10-100 people.
  • It can be ideal for residential parks, industrial plants, hotels.

Material:

  • PP (polypropylene) + membrane modules.

Advantages:

  • Extremely clean effluent water.
  • Recyclable water (e.g. for irrigation).
  • Low operating costs in the long term.
  • Compact design.

Installation and assembly:

  • Requires professional expert installation due to membrane technology.
  • Electrical and hydraulic connection is required for this type.

Lifespan:

  • 30-50 years, with regular maintenance.
