Modular Home

What’s the difference between a mobile home and a modular home?

Mobile Home:
A mobile home is fully prefabricated and transported as a single unit (see our Mobile Homes category). It’s typically built on a steel chassis with wheels, making it easy to move and quick to install. In many cases, it’s not classified as a traditional building, which often means a simpler permitting process.

Modular Home:
A modular home is built from multiple sections (modules), which are manufactured in our factory and assembled on-site. Structurally, it’s similar to a traditional house, can even be multi-story, and serves as a permanent residence. It’s more durable and robust, but less mobile.

The HORIZONT® steel frame system represents the pinnacle of modern lightweight construction. It is built on high-strength, hot-dip galvanized steel profiles that provide exceptional durability, precise dimensional accuracy, and a long service life. The factory-prepared, millimeter-accurate components ensure fast, clean, and error-free on-site assembly.

Despite its low weight, the structure is exceptionally strong — offering outstanding resistance to earthquakes and fire, along with excellent thermal performance. The HORIZONT® technology is designed for true four-season, energy-efficient buildings, making it ideal for modular homes, mobile houses, and contemporary lightweight residential construction.
